Center for Functional Cancer Epigenetics

The Center for Functional Cancer Epigenetics is an expanding department within the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Previously located in two buildings and on three floors, the group includes a large number of collaborative faculty and teams now all on one floor. A flexible conference area, huddle rooms, and shared equipment support a culture of collaboration and interaction. During the design effort, isgenuity identified opportunities for sharing core resources while maintaining individual laboratory zones for the principal investigators. The design selectively upgraded and opened up existing wet and dry laboratory spaces, and bathed them in natural light.
